1. Stay hydrated
Water gives vitality and strength. It eliminates toxins from the body and ensures the good functioning of the organs before you eat anything. To stay Zen, you need to drink about a liter and a half water every day. Without having enough water, the body feels weak and the eyes are sore.
2. Have enough sleep
It is essential to have enough sleep each day to be healthy. Studies have it that the duration of sleep varies from an age group to another. Infants and children sleep about 4 hours more than adults and elder people.
3. Do fitness exercises
Regular exercise is essential to promote strength in the body. You can work out at home or at the gym; but it is also relaxing to work out in nature. For example, you can go jogging around a lake or in an area where trees grow. It is a good idea to listen to music while exercising.
4. Do not put too much spice in food
Spices add flavor to the food we eat. However, if you have an irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel disease, it is important to limit your intake of spicy food. It is not recommended to add much spice to your food if you have ulcers.
5. Eat a healthy, balanced diet
Each day, drink plenty of water and eat more vegetable and fruit. With some grains, eat little fish or meat, but you can replace it with beans or other protein alternatives. Eat very little fat, oil and sugar, and do not eat fatty meat.
6. Give alms
Taking care of the others, especially the needy, promotes well-being and peace within. You can participate in philanthropic activities through an organization, which addresses the need of the poor. 7. Listen to music
Music is beneficial for many reasons: it improves memory and concentration because it reduces anxiety and stress. If you do not feel good, music can ease the pain because your mind won't stay focused on the pain. It is also a good idea to listen to music before sleeping to provide comfort and help to relax.
